We have a large variety of projects to which you can allocate your donation. Alternatively, you may prefer to not specify the allocation of your donation, which will automatically direct it to the Injured Solders Fund.

In addition, AWIS in Israel and worldwide has other projects, namely:

INJURED SOLDIERS FUND

AWIS takes loving care of soldiers wounded in service. Volunteers are quick to visit each and every soldier promptly and remain in close touch throughout their recovery. more info...

SPIRIT - FIVE DAY VACATIONS FOR COMBAT UNITS

'Spirit' allows the soldiers to recharge their batteries at one of AWIS' rest and recreation resorts, and resume their duties strengthened and refreshed.

IMPACT! SCHOLARSHIP PROJECT

AWIS provides full scholarships to discharged combat unit soldiers from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds for whom higher education would otherwise be unattainable. more info...

PRESIDENT'S SCHOLARSHIPS - GRANTED TO EXEMPLARY SOLDIERS

Each year, AWIS grants scholarships to 120 exemplary soldiers, selected by the I.D.F., at a special ceremony on Independence Day at the President's Residence. more info...

MOBILE SYNAGOGUE

AWIS provides combat units with mobile synagogues, allowing observant soldiers to participate in prayer services - even under the harshest field conditions, at outposts and in combat zones. For these soldiers, attending synagogue is not only a mitzvah but a source of spiritual sustenance as they carry the weight of Israel's security on their shoulders. On major Jewish holidays, secular soldiers also attend synagogue, as do most Jews around the world. more info...

Field conditions for I.D.F. combat soldiers are tough and stressful. Opportunities for rest and recreation are rare, but vital, for recharging batteries and sustaining morale. more info...

MOBILE GYM

There is nothing combat soldiers prize more than a mobile gym. Equipped with exercise and fitness equipment - such as treadmills, multi-trainers and weight lifts - the mobile gym allows combat soldiers to unwind from the immense pressure of their life-threatening tasks, and keep combat fit! The mobile gym accommodates 16 soldiers, and another ten can exercise on equipment placed outside. more info...

REST AND RECREATION CLUB

These facilities, also designed for combat soldiers, are upgraded versions of mobile clubs.

Size: 120 square meters (1,291 square feet).
Main features: reinforced door, four air conditioners, acoustic ceiling, light fixtures, coffee tables, chairs, sofas, washbasin, pool table, cabinet, DVD, satellite TV, sound system and CDs, multipurpose projector, kitchenette, fridge, microwave, toaster, water dispenser, pictures, flowerpots and table games. more info...
